Certas Lubricant Solutions was proud to take part in the UKLA (United Kingdom Lubricants Association) European Roadmap event on 11 June 2025, which brought together leading voices from the lubricants industry to explore the sector’s future amid increasing regulatory pressures and sustainability targets.
The conference focused on the transition toward lower-carbon technologies, the circular economy and how companies across the value chain—manufacturers, distributors and end users—must adapt. Industry leaders shared insights on staying resilient and competitive while embracing innovation and environmental responsibility.

Other featured speakers included David Wright, UKLA Director General, who outlined the association’s strategic vision for the European lubricants roadmap, as well as representatives from leading lubricant manufacturers and regulatory bodies. Topics ranged from developments in base-oil stocks to waste-oil management and future-proofing supply chains.
